Kent Morris Artist Talk & Grazing Luncheon

Classes, Lessons, Workshops and Talks

10 Nov 2019

Kent Morris is an artist, curator and educator of Barkindji and Irish heritage. He is CEO of the Torch Project, an Indigenous Arts in Prisons and Community program.

Central themes in his art practice are the connections between contemporary Indigenous experience and contemporary cultural practices and their continuation and evolution.

He represents these concepts in his exhibition, Unvanished by reconstructing the shapes and structures of the built environment to reflect the rhythms, form and geometric designs of the first people of Australia.

Please join Gallery Director Brenda Wellman and exhibiting artist Kent Morris on the last day of Unvanished for an engaging talk and grazing luncheon, Sunday 10 November from 11am.
