Are you interested in having some fun and exploring acting?

Let’s Act Now! This course features an introduction to method acting, improvisations and a range of exercises designed to allow you to tap into your creativity.

Hobo Playhouse Actors’ Studio’s Artistic Director Jeffrey Bryant Jones will run the two-hour course on Monday nights.

Jeff is an actor/director/teacher who trained at the Actors’ Mill in Sydney 40 years ago and has practised the method acting technique ever since. You may have seen him in The Sum of Us or The Carer at the Creswick Theatre Company.

Method acting is a technique that uses your life experience and your memories to create the character. It enables you to share your character’s emotions – their joys, their agonies and their vulnerabilities.
