Join Oakridge as they welcome permaculture experts Kirsten and Nick from Milkwood for a very special dinner event, celebrating their joint passion for wild foods, fermentation and seaweed and their new book Milkwood: Real skills for down-to-earth living.
You’ll feast on a cornucopia of local wild foods from both the land and the sea. All paired with Oakridge Estate’s very own prized wines.
Going wild, literally, to construct this four-course one-off menu will be Oakridge’s award-winning chefs, Matt Stone and Jo Barrett—fellow grower-foragers extraordinaire—who will scour the estate and local surrounds for mouth-watering ingredients.
Along with enough culinary excitement to make you feel wild at heart, this special dinner event will feature a lively discussion on the history, present and future of wild foods in Australia, sustainable farming and how to find a little piece of wilderness no matter where you live.
$140 per person. $180 per person including a signed copy of Milkwood: Real skills for down-to-earth living.
