26 Feb 2019 to 27 Aug 2019

With themes changing every term, come and play in the Museum’s newest program for two to five year olds.

Each Playdate is facilitated by a learning expert, and aims to connect children to their world through museum objects.

Choose from two sessions. Before hours sessions from 9:00 to 10:00am and 11:00am to midday. The before hours sessions are sensory friendly. Suitable for ages two to five years. Children must be accompanied by one adult.

Thursday 21 March: International Day of the Forest. Join the global celebration of forests and discover the hidden lives of trees.

Tuesday 30 April, Tuesday 28 May and Tuesday 25 June: Pasifika Playdates. Journey across the islands of Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia and discover a deep connection held between people and the ocean for thousands of years.

Wednesday 22 May 2019: International Day of Biodiversity. Meet the deep sea dwellers that call the oceans home and reflect upon how you can ensure their survival.
