Nariel Creek Folk Festival

Festivals and Celebrations

27 Dec 2019 to 2 Jan 2020

The Nariel Creek Folk Festival is a celebration of traditional folk music, song and dance and is held on the banks of the beautiful Nariel Creek in the Recreation Reserve.

The event has been held since the early sixties, making it one of the longest running folk festivals in Australia.

No paid artists and non-commercial. Music around the campfire, a blackboard concert on New Year’s Day and a series of old time dances are held at the Cudgewa Hall.

Held over the New Year period each year, the festival is a great, family friendly festival for those wanting something a little more laid-back and relaxed to enjoy over the festive period.

Camping is available leading up to and after the festival. Additional fees apply.
