Roll’d Gold Mountain Bike Race

Returning in to Shifty Fifty calendar in 2023, they can’t wait to share some of the fast, flowy, and fun riding around Castlemaine.

There’s a bunch of singletracks that will take you through box-ironbark woodland areas of historic gold mining activity.

This route features undulating terrain with generally flowy trails on smooth, sometimes loose, dirt surfaces. There are some small drop-offs, rocky sections and steeper climbs and descents.

This is a two lap course that has a 3.1 kilometre prologue. Riders who start in the full Shifty Fifty distance can change to the Shifty Shorty at the completion of their first lap if they choose to not do the second lap.

eMTBs are always welcome at all rounds of the Shifty Fifty.
