‘Savage in Limbo’ is the latest work by All Sorts Productions artistic director, Maurice Mammoliti, whose vision to immerse audiences into a complete sensory experience that gives each member of the audience a “fly-on-the-wall’ perspective of the play.
Audience members will be seated in the surrounds of the iconic bar The Local Taphouse, St Kilda where it will be transformed into a 1980’s dive bar in Bronx, New York to immerse the audience into an ultra-realistic setting, minimally adjusted, to create a theatrical experience of a different kind.
John Patrick Shanley’s ‘Savage in Limbo’ is a story about five lonely misfits who serendipitously meet whilst trying to find themselves they find each other. To make a change in their mundane lives and escape Limbo, they must hash out their past, present and future.
Witness this explosive and fast-paced production in its raw state at The Local Taphouse, commencing from May 31 to June 12.
Doors open an hour before the performance, so come in and have yourself a bite to eat or drink and enjoy the bar.
