Smythesdale Art and Music Fiesta

The Smythesdale Community Arts and Music Fiesta is an all embracing diverse and interactive event, aimed at addressing community welfare, together with providing gainful recognition and opportunities for local visual and performance artists to display their creative practices.

Along with offering artists the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work, the Fiesta presents interactive works of art with hands-on participation to all that attend the daylong activities.

Now in its fourth year, the Smythesdale Community Arts and Music Fiesta, in drawing communities together, acts as a conduit in attracting families to mingle, address social needs, wellbeing and current-day values within a diverse and gender friendly fraternity.

Where the ultimate aim is to establish the Fiesta as an annual community event within the Northern region of Golden Plains Shire – a fast growing community within close proximity to Ballarat – improved livability and wellbeing of residents is gained by the festive activities of music, spoken word, visual and interactive art.
