Solstice Searching

Celebrate the Winter Solstice by joining the team on a city-wide scavenger hunt! Follow the clues to find some of artist Carla O’Brien’s amazing neon sculptures which are hidden in some of Warrnambool’s most scenic locations. Solve the cryptic clues to lead you on a journey of neon-filled fun!

On Friday 23 June 2023, the clues will be posted via Warrnambool City Council’s social media and website.

Start at any clue you like. Walk, ride or drive yourself to each location and once you’ve noted what sculpture is located at which stop, send in your entries and go in the running to win one of two $100 vouchers to any local business of your choosing. You can submit your entries via the website. The first two correct entries chosen at random will win.

As a new addition to this year’s event, you can now get your face painted in fun glow in the dark designs! Find their face painter located on the Civic Green before you set off on your hunt or visit along the way.
