St Kilda Festival, returns on 5 – 13 February, spread over nine days to allow for a COVID-safe approach, while continuing the focus on some of the nation’s best musicians, over multiple stages along with satellite activations and online events.

Presented by City of Port Phillip, the Festival will take place on the St Kilda Foreshore and surrounds, activating specific St Kilda precincts with an eclectic array of programming.

Highlights include: Daryl Braithwaite, Gordi, Barkaa, Baker Boy, Kee’ahn, KYE, The Lazy Eyes, and over 50 additional acts, there’s bound to be someone you love!

The diverse program features live Australian music, including long-established artists, beautifully complimented by the next generation of emerging First-People’s talent; dance performances, workshops, sports demonstrations, community group activities, food and market stalls, extended business trading, roving entertainment, street performers and a dedicated family-friendly stage.

SKF is proud to incorporate the Yaluk-ut Weelam Ngargee: First People’s Arts and Culture Showcase, on Saturday 12th.

The New Music Competition also returns, which recognises the importance of promoting opportunities for emerging musicians. The competition will run online with performances available for the public to view and vote for on the Festival website and screened onsite at the Festival. The crowd favourite will win a $5,000 cash prize and invitation to perform at the Main Stage in 2023.

Free and fully accessible. All ages welcome.
