To ‘play hooky’ is to be absent without permission. Who does not want to knock off at noon for whisky?
Join for a hearty two-course lunch with beer or wine in conversation with Timboon Railway Shed Distillery’s owner and head distiller, Josh Walker. Lunch will include sampling of the Timboon range over tales of Victoria’s illicit whisky history.
After lunch, you will visit Starward Distillery to learn about founder David Vitale’s vision to produce and approachable, modern and distinctly Australian whisky. Enjoy VIP access at Starward’s impressive distillery and enjoy a guided whisky tasting of Starward’s core range and special projects.
Tour includes: Over eight tastings of whisky during the afternoon; two-course lunch with a glass of beer/wine; a VIP tour of the production process and master class tasting at Starward Distillery; transport from Lamaro’s Restaurant to Starward distillery; and optional extra: bottle your own 200ml special bottle of cask-strength whisky, directly from the barrel.
Tour group will be limited to 12. All participants must be over 18 years old.
