Paramdeep Ghumman, co-owner and winemaker at Nazaaray Estate, had his first sip of wine on an international flight at the age of 30, when he emigrated from India to Australia with his doctor wife Nirmal in 1981. He has made up for lost time, creating superb single vineyard wines totally by hand in one of the Mornington Peninsula’s smallest commercial vineyards.
Nazaaray Estate Winery is Mornington Peninsula’s southernmost winery and the only one in Flinders. Here, single vineyard, handcrafted wines are made on site in small batches. Nazaaray’s wines feature on the wine list of several top restaurants, including Vue de Monde. Bookings essential.
