Tomorrow Is My Own: Claire Cross

Concert or Performance

9 Jun 2019

Claire Cross and the Tomorrow is My Turn band will perform Into Light – a darkly-hued, evocative composition exploring the ideas of discover, carving light from darkness and the bravery of dreaming.

With swells of ambiguous textures interwoven with improvisation, Into Light is inspired by ambient chamber ensemble works with a jazz sensibility.

Claire is an exciting and versatile performer and a passionate advocate for women in music. She leads a number of exciting projects and ensembles and has graced the stage at festivals and venues all over the country. This year, she is heading back into the studio to work with Myles Mumford to create her second album, Moving Targets.

Claire will perform with a hand selected band made up of professional musicians and students from the statewide tour, which will be followed by a Q and A with Claire.
