The Warrnambool Storytelling Festival will showcase the quantity and diversity of arts and community groups in Warrnambool. The Festival explores the various forms of storytelling with strolling players to staged performances including Shane Howard, from Indigenous lead walks on country with local elder Uncle Robbie Lowe to Songs of Land and Sea with Bruce Campbell, from a staged Radio Play at 3WAY FM to Aidan Jones – comedian and more, the performances will cover the city geographically, historically and culturally.

There will also be opportunities to get hands on with the Warrnambool Historical Society by sharing your own story, tackling the art of short play writing with the Warrnambool Theatre Company lead Theatre Lab and discussing all things death related with the Death Cafe.

Whether you like to learn more about what makes the ‘Bool and it’s inhabitants tick, or a rollicking good laugh this Festival will have something for you to enjoy. Get in early, some of these events are selling fast.
