Visit the Woodend Art Group at the Woodend Railway Station during the Woodend Winter Arts Festival over the Queens Birthday Weekend.
Woodend is nestled in the foothills of the Macedon Ranges and the town becomes alive over the Queen’s Birthday weekend offering art, music and good food.
All works on display are by members of Woodend Art Group, with a wonderful mural on display outside the building created by the Folio Group. There will be fresh coffee, a roaring fire and congenial company, so come along and have a chat with the members, all for a gold coin donation.
Woodend Art Group members are a diverse group and have on display works in glass, encaustic wax, silk painting, clay and well as traditional mediums. More information can be found by visiting the website.
There is an impressive line up of wonderful artists demonstrating each day during the forthcoming Winter Art Show. Among them are Daniel Butterworth, Richard Chamerski and Maria Dee. Just another reason to visit the bright, light and large gallery rooms at the Woodend Railway Station during the Queen’s Birthday Weekend.
