Wyndham Art Prize Opening

Now in its eight year, the Wyndham Art Prize for 2022 has attracted the highest number of entries since it began. More than 560 artworks were submitted by more than 360 artists. Artists come from across Australia and work with a full variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, printing, photography, sculpture and video.

The themes that stood out this year were responses to the pandemic and the exploration of gender, identity and place.

Come and join them at the opening night, which includes the announcement of the winners. All finalists’ work will be exhibited at Wyndham Cultural Centre between 2 June to 7 August.
