Gulf Station Open Day

Gulf Station began in the 1840s as part of a 25,000 acre run known as the Gulf and was owned by the Bell family for the better part of 100 years until 1951.

Gulf Station is one of the oldest and most intact examples of a pioneer farm complex in Australia.

During their open days visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour of the house, heritage buildings and gardens, or join a guided tour conducted by one of their volunteer guides and be transported into the domestic life of a rural colonial family where a mother’s word was law.

Enjoy the open space at Gulf Station, they encourage picnics and visits to the resident Clydesdale horses during your visit.
