Avani Wines’ summer pop-up restaurant and cellar door will be open from 18 December to 7 February (Thursday to Monday). Serving a modern Indian menu featuring the best local and Australian native produce.
Avani Wines are family-owned, small-batch producer of premium cool-climate wines on the Mornington Peninsula. Adopting a minimal intervention approach, we create wines of character which best express their site and growing season. Our wines are made using indigenous yeast ferments, no fining, no filtration and minimal sulphur.
The flagship wine is the syrah which is grown on the estate vineyard where they adopt biodynamic practices. The second label, Amrit features pinot noir, chardonnay, skin-contact pinot gris and sauvignon blanc which are made from grapes sourced from other local vineyards.
