Avani Wines are family-owned, small-batch producer of premium cool-climate wines on the Mornington Peninsula. Adopting a minimal intervention approach, we create wines of character which best express their site and growing season.
Open on the first weekend of each month join us for a wine tasting or lunch. The team from Kesar will be serving contemporary Indian share plates focusing on local and seasonal ingredients.
Avani Wines are made using indigenous yeast ferments, no fining, no filtration and minimal sulphur.
The flagship wine is the syrah which is grown on the estate vineyard where they adopt biodynamic practices. The second label, Amrit features pinot noir, chardonnay, skin-contact pinot gris and sauvignon blanc which are made from grapes sourced from other local vineyards.
