BKK

BKK is a turbocharged Thai BBQ canteen, serving Bangkok-inspired street food in a luxe modern reimagining of the street food experience on level three of HER. Its fiery, open-concept kitchen serves up barbecue skewers, charred meats, laab and Thai curries from North to South.

The menu is extensive from snacking options to larger plates, and everything is cooked over coal or fire. BKK’s intimate tables are set around the firey kitchen with casual high-tops and bench space with city or kitchen views.

Pair the spice with bright, fun, tropical cocktails that have been designed to match the experience. Similar to the colour-changing stairwell, the cocktail changes colour from blue to pink when poured into a glass with lime.

The design of BKK uses the exposed brick walls of the heritage Federation building, with terracotta floors reminiscent of the street experience. The high original ceilings have intricate wooden panelling with billowing canvas shades, while sheets of copper line the entry wall, kitchen and tabletops, bouncing warm reflections from vividly lit neon artworks and neighbouring LED advertising.
