Best’s Wines is part of the Grampians Wine Region and was established in 1866. Throughout the history of the winery, there have only been two owners, the Best family, who founded the winery back in 1866, and the Thomson family, who purchased the vineyard in 1920. Best’s has a reputation for producing some of the regions best Shiraz, and is also known for their Riesling and Cabernet along with some different varieties, such as Pinot Meunier. The Cellar Door is small but original and housed in the original stables that were built back in the 1870’s.
