More than just a store – each is staffed with butchers and chefs with expert knowledge and skill when it comes to provenance and preparation. It starts with relationships with farmers, to breaking down whole animals, to marinating, boning, rolling, dry ageing, seasoning and preparing tonight’s dinner to be heated at home. Meatsmith’s selection of restaurant quality meals are prepared by chefs, with a core range complemented by seasonal highlights all throughout the year.
All beef is grass fed, pork is rare breed and chicken is free range. Each store also offers wine, spirits and beer with a focus on local, small scale producers. There’s also condiments, accompaniments and charcuterie as well as an ever-changing selection of favourite pantry items, cookbooks and kitchen essentials.
