Hero is a contemporary day-to-night eating house and bar, with a European twist.

Award-winning chef, Karen Martini sits at the helm, while executive chef Diego Rosales and the legendary Philippa Sibley ride shotgun in the kitchen.

Located on level one of ACMI, Federation Square, Hero is an uncomplicated, unaffected place where ideas of film, food, art, music and people come together to create an energetic and exciting culture in one stunningly designed space.

Hero’s menu reflects Martini’s love of cuisines from all over the world, the techniques and produce used to create them. But overall, Hero’s dishes showcase Martini’s cooking ethos of simply using and highlighting the absolute best of Victorian seasonal produce.
