Passing Clouds offers a holistic winery experience. Their goal is to make wine for the people who drink it, superb wine that should be shared with excellent and thoughtful food in the company of family and friends. It seems natural therefore to offer this experience at their cellar door, which is why they have created the dining room at Passing Clouds.
Guests can watch wine being made on one side of the dining room and watch the clouds passing by over the vineyard through the large dining room windows on the opposite side.
The menu changes as to what is in season and in the garden. The dining room offers superb grazing boards of charcuterie, cheese and salumi along with succulent grilled meats. A fine view of the vineyard provides just the right atmosphere for a long meandering lunch when matched with Passing Cloud’s superb wines.
The cellar door is open seven days from 10:00am, except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The dining room is open for lunch from 12:00pm Friday to Monday, except Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
