Open over summer, Prom Country Cheese is a modern on-farm cheesery surrounded by dairy pastures in the picturesque Moyarra Valley. During the warmer months the cellar doors open for cheese tastings and platters featuring specialty cheeses handmade onsite and local farm produce.
Enjoy the comfort of the tasting room or fresh air of the veranda with local wines or craft beer. Viewing windows into the cheese making area are accompanied by interpretative information. The Brandon family is involved in the entire paddock-to-plate process from milking ewes to handcrafting the cheese, then proudly presenting distinctive, regional products to the visitor. Sustainable, natural and ethical farming techniques combine with simple raw ingredients to create a wide range of traditional, multi-award winning cheeses made from sheep and cow’s milk. Farm gate cheese sales on weekends November to April.
