The Meat Room is an artisan salami producer, producing award-winning salami utilising certified free-range pork.
Throughout the year, The Meat Room holds Sausage Making Classes in their bluestone barn, teaching participants how to make their own pork sausages, which they then take home after sharing pizza from their wood fired oven with fellow class attendees.
Seasonal lunches are held throughout the year, with produce sourced from their extensive vegetable garden. Classes and lunches always incorporate a garden tour if the weather is kind.
A new addition to the business is The Meat Room Providore, which is open Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 12pm. The Providore stocks an extensive range of local and imported cheeses, antipasto items, salami, sausages, pork, beef and lamb; and sourdough bread baked on-premises is also available.
