The Wine Farm in Koonwarra, South Gippsland, is a small family owned biodynamic vineyard where Neil and Anna Hawkins farm, make and bottle their range of cool climate wines with an emphasis on nurturing the soil and health of the vineyard (following the farming method of Australian Demeter Biodynamic) and minimal intervention in the cellar to allow the wines to express their place.

Bookings are available at the cellar door most Saturdays and during peak holiday periods to taste through a changing selection of the wines – including Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Riesling as well as a rosé and pét-nat – as you overlook the vines that produced them, and hear from Neil and Anna about some of the things that matter to them most, like plants and soils and microbes and how growing delicious things and doing their bit to regenerate their land go hand in hand.

Take-away sales are available from 12pm-4.30pm on open days.
