Truffle Valley

Truffle Valley farm is in the heart of the beautiful Yarra Valley only an hour from Melbourne CBD. They welcome visitors during truffle season, which runs from mid-June to the end of August. During truffle season, the Truffle Shop is open for farm gate sales on Saturdays and Sundays and also by appointment. They also offer a wonderful Truffle Hunting experience by appointment only.

Truffle Valley farm produces mostly French black truffles, famous for their distinctive aroma and unforgettable flavour. Come to Truffle Valley farm and experience an old-fashioned country welcome and buy some amazing fresh truffles, harvested just prior to your purchase at the rustic Truffle Shop.

Truffles must be grown in ideal conditions on the roots of host trees. They take years of patient dedication before they come to maturity. And as they ripen in the cool winter months, their unique scent escapes the earth. It is only then that they are expertly detected by trusty truffle dogs, Tessa and Rita.
