Halls Gap & Grampians Visitor Information Centre

Visitor Information Centres

The Halls Gap Visitor Information Centre is nestled in the heart of the majestic Grampians National Park. The staff offer a wide range of services including expert advice on the National Park, accommodation and activities plus a selection of walking and driving maps and local reference books.

The rugged, awe-inspiring ranges of the Grampians have attracted bush walkers and adventure seekers since the turn of last century. Colourful spring wildflowers, many species of birds and a variety of fauna including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and possums are all part of this unique landscape. The Grampians is also home to 80% of Victoria’s Aboriginal art sites and boasts one of Victoria’s largest waterfalls – MacKenzie Falls.

Whether you prefer staying in luxury five star accommodation or camping in the National Park the Grampians offers something for everyone with more than 160 kilometres of walking tracks ranging from short easy strolls to challenging overnight expeditions.
