Metung Visitor Information Centre

Metung Visitor Information Centre is centrally located in the Village and is open seven days per week, available to assist visitors to Metung and surrounds with local information. They can also help visitors with booking accommodation, tours and activities in this picturesque Village located on the Gippsland Lakes.

Metung is a small Village of 1,100 permanent residents located on a narrow peninsula of land, separating Bancroft Bay from Lake King. Situated in East Gippsland and ideally placed with the surrounding protected waters of the Gippsland Lakes.

The Metung Visitor Information Centre can also help with information on day boat hire, overnight cruiser or yacht hire, scenic cruises, galleries, restaurants, cooking school, walks, sightseeing, wineries, food trails, tours and scenic drives.
