Allora House Kalgoorlie

The Guest House is heritage-listed and has been lovingly restored. Allora is the Italian word for affection and fittingly named when the house was built by JD Connolly and offered as a gift from the owner to his future wife as an engagement present.

The property is located only two blocks from the main street, railway station, and a short walk to most attractions and great restaurants. With safe, secure off-street parking, shared laundry and kitchenette, bathroom, dining, lounge, and barbecue outdoor garden. The guest enjoys the fully renovated 1940s area of 3 queen size bedrooms all connected to the shared lounge and dining room. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV, reverse cycle air conditioning, and a modern ensemble bed to accompany restored furniture sympathetic to the period of the house. We have been fortunate, sourcing furniture that spent its life in the Goldfields.

Please note Allora house does not provide breakfast, though there is a well-equipped kitchenette and a supermarket a block away from us.

Our lounge/dining area has a chaise lounge, lounge suite, full-size TV and sound system, coffee table, and a dining table with 4 chairs. The lounge/dining area overlooks the garden, we have a wide veranda opening onto a sheltered garden. Lovely to watch the changes of the season within the garden. Relaxing in antique folding chairs and garden benches.
