Lane Poole Reserve covers some 55,000 hectares of Jarrah forest just 100 kilometres from Perth near Dwellingup. The Murray River flows through the reserve and offers numerous recreational activities from swimming and canoeing to white-water rafting.
The Baden Powell campground is ideal for families. It features 42 camp sites: 36 sites for tents (two wheelchair accessible) plus six caravan or camper trailer sites. There are three camp kitchens (one wheelchair accessible) equipped with food preparation surfaces, dining tables, washing-up sinks and gas barbecues.

Camp sites are not standard sizes, they are suitable for either tent camping or caravans and camper trailers. Tent sites feature vehicle parking adjacent to a tent area for each site. Four sites have two tent areas and one parking area. Caravan or camper trailer sites feature an adjacent tent area.
