Lake Preston Lime Paddock

Lake Preston Lime Paddock. Families with pets and children are asked to slow down, especially in the early hours of the morning and evening. Party campers are very welcome to ask for a spot at the back of the block rather than in the “camping paddock”. At the end of the bitumen on Finn road, follow the black road towards the red shed, over the airstrip, watch out, past the hobbit house, and drive around the camping paddock until you find a good spot. Lake Preston has a limestone shore. Access is via a limestone track in front of our house. Paddle your canoe or kayak, or walk. The lake is very salty and can only support tiny brine shrimp. Other great spots include Crooked Carrot Cafe, Old Coast Road Brewery, Vineyard 28 and Footprints Cafe at Preston Beach. Both Myalup beach and Preston beach have fishing spots and allow dogs.
