The Cottage Garden

This property was owned by an Italian family who came to Australia in the 30’s. They became tomato farmers owning 50 acres of land. The old cottage was built first and lived in by the Ricopero parents, later when their son Joe married Yvonne he built the residential house ( 1973), where he lived with his wife until she passed away in 2020. His daughter and grandchildren grew up in the house too, the rest of the land had been split up between family members. They bought the house in August 2021 and fell instantly in love with it and all its quirkiness with so much potential. They have since met Joe, he is 92 now and a real bobby dazzler. He marched around the house and grounds telling the current owners how everything works along with the history of the house.
