Tree Chalets
Where To Stay Acton Park, Busselton, Western Australia
Set in Western Australia’s Margaret River wine region 15 minutes from Busselton are the beautiful multi-award-winning Tree Chalets. Amid 90 acres of natural Australian bush and Rosegum plantation, there are two luxuriously appointed chalets, each accommodating two people. The chalets are off-grid and cater for adults only. Tree Chalets are eco-certified.
The innovative design of the chalets allows for total relaxation and immersion in nature. With over five kilometres of walk trails, couples can enjoy absolute privacy, except for an occasional visit from a kangaroo and abundant birdlife.
The self-contained chalets include thoughtful fittings such as outdoor cast iron baths with hot water, complimentary bath salts and privacy screens, walk-in rainfall showers, heated towel rails, 100 per cent natural bedding, Smart Televisions, and free Netflix and Wi-Fi.
Guests have a complimentary low food mile and single-use-plastic free breakfast hamper. Collating the local hamper products has been a labour of love for owners Fran and Andrew, who actively nurture meaningful relationships with local Margaret River region producers to source and craft sustainable options. For a small glimpse into the process: milk, yoghurt, and butter come fresh from the dairy five kilometres down the road and packaged in cardboard, which eventually goes into Tree Chalets’ compost bin.
