Busselton Jetty Virtual Tours

Busselton Jetty has launched Virtual Underwater Observatory Live Tours – featuring one of only six natural aquariums in the world. They are bringing Australian marine life to lounge rooms, classrooms, and personal computers globally.

The live tours include a 30 minute guided tour by their marine science team; the viewer will descend 8-metres below the surface exploring the different marine species that live under the Jetty. After the guided tour, there is a live Question and Answer segment allowing the viewers to ask questions in real-time. Live Tours are AUD11 and they are running these every day at 2pm Western Australian time.

There are also free online, virtual activities to do from home while enjoying an ocean view of the Busselton Jetty including:

a) Virtual Running on the Jetty – play on your Smart Television and exercise in front of it, it’s like your actually there;
b) Virtual Dancing on the Jetty – send them your best videos;
c) Virtual Personal Training on the Jetty – by their Safety Manager, Orlando and Tour Guide and Personal Trainer, Sean;
e) Virtual Walking on the Jetty for those who want to do something a bit calmer;
f) Virtual Stocker Preston Express Train Ride;
g) 360-degree Virtual Tour;
h) Virtual Day and Night Tours of the Jetty – with their Marine Scientist, Sophie and Tour Guide, Neil.

Busselton Jetty are offering free online, virtual activities to do from home while enjoying an ocean view of the longest Jetty in the Southern Hemisphere – a massive 1.841 kilometre long, including:

a) Virtual Running or Cycling on the Jetty – put on your Smart Television and exercise in front of it, it’s like your actually there;
b) Virtual Dancing on the Jetty – send them your best videos;
c) Virtual Personal Training with Home-Made Hand Weights on the Jetty – by their Safety Manager, Orlando;
d) Virtual Yoga on the Jetty – with Tour Guide and Personal Trainer, Sean;
e) Virtual Walking on the Jetty for those who want to do something a bit calmer;
f) Virtual Busselton Jetty Train Ride – commentary by their Train Driver, Paul;
g) Marine Education workshops – with Marine Scientist, Amy;
h) 360-degree Virtual Tour of the Underwater marine life;
i) Virtual Day and Night Tours of the Jetty –with their Marine Scientist, Sophie and Tour Guide, Neil.

The live tours include a 30-minute guided tour by their marine science team. The viewer will descend 8-meters below the surface exploring the different marine species that live under the Jetty. Keep your eyes peeled for a school of Australian herring or a couple of old wives as they cruise past the window. If you are lucky, Cecilia, a New Zealand Fur Seal is known to make an appearance now and again.

After the guided tour, there is a live Question and Answer segment allowing the viewers to ask questions in real-time. Live Tours are AUD11 and they are running these every day at 2pm Western Australian time.
