The Beverley Historical Society operates the Dead Finish Museum. The museum houses an interesting collection of local history memorabilia including settlers’ hand-made tools, furniture, and clothes. and will give you an insight into life in Beverley in the era.
Built in 1872, and then known as the Wheatsheaf Inn, it is the oldest building in Beverley. The historic building has 10 rooms, including a period kitchen, dining room, nursery and meeting room. Special exhibits are in the Beverley Room and Annie Lucie’s Room.
Visitors can also enjoy the shady native plant and cottage garden.
