Flights depart from Kununurra, Lake Argyle, Purnululu (Bungle Bungle), Bungle Bungle Caravan Park, Mitchell Falls, Esperance, El Questro, Karratha and Katherine Gorge.

HeliSpirit’s award-winning Bungle Bungle helicopter flights depart from the airfield in Purnululu National Park, the Bungle Bungle Caravan Park, located 1 kilometre from the Great Northern Highway, or Warmun. They provide the most flight time over the Bungle Bungle.

Some helicopter flights from Kununurra or Lake Argyle include landings to view the sun setting over the vast red cliffs of the Ord River or swimming in secret springs.

At the Mitchell Falls, fly in one way and walk back with the Falls Transfer flight or choose a longer flight out over the Kimberley Coast.

Their newest base in Esperance offers flights over the stunning coastline and beach landings.

Kununurra is situated along the huge Ord River with mountains surrounding the fertile Ord River Valley. HeliSpirit has a number of Kununurra scenic flights on offer from waterfall flights after the rains to romantic sunset heli-picnics looking out over the Ord Valley with your favourite cold drink.

There is also a farmer’s special flight to show you the vast expanse of the Ord Irrigation scheme and an epic Bungle Bungle adventure which is a half-day air safari with two landings and a picnic stop along the way.

Purnululu National Park are listed on the United National Education Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) Natural World Heritage sites. The park covers almost 240,000 hectares of remote wilderness and includes the Bungle Bungle Range – a spectacular landscape of sculptured rocks and sandstone towers. Appreciate the land where Aboriginal people lived for some 40,000 years.

HeliSpirit’s Mitchell Falls Helicopter Tours give you a magnificent bird’s eye view of the remote wilderness.

The transfer flight is a short helicopter flight to view the Mitchell Falls from the air and drop you off at the top of the Mitchell Falls (or to pick you up if you have pre-booked) and take you back to the campground. There is a longer option out to the Kimberley coast and over the lower Mitchell Falls and Crystal Creek. The 18 minute triple waterfall flight includes the lower Mitchell Falls and the JCR falls.

There is so much to see from the air at the Mitchell Plateau. A Mitchell Falls helicopter flight gives you a grand perspective of the area you have walked and driven over. You will see gorges, waterfalls, remote beaches and islands if you choose the 48 minute flight.

Helicopter flights operate from Mitchell Falls between May and September (approximately), dependent on the weather.
