Kimberley Dreamtime Adventure Tours offer Two Day Culture Tours and Three Day Bush Adventures from Broome or Willare Bridge Roadhouse to Mount Anderson and Jarlmadangah Burru – The Kimberley.

They also offer tailored trips suitable for small groups and individuals wanting to learn more about aboriginal culture and stay on country in a rugged outdoor setting. Accompanied by Indigenous, local guides, tours can include extended camel treks, walks, visit billabongs and creeks for swimming and fishing, learn about bush tucker and traditional medicine, local flora and fauna, climb to rock art and ancient living sites and learn about the Aboriginal customs and laws still in use today.

From $492 to $550

Depart from your Broome accommodation and travel through Kimberley cattle country, entering Nyikina (pronounced Nig-a-na) land.

Travel to Jarlmadangah community, meet your guides and other local community members, and learn about some history, culture, skin groups, tools, weapons and art followed by lunch and a walking tour.

Onto a rock art gallery enjoying billy tea, damper and dreamtime stories.

Mount Anderson station to set up camp.

Down to the billabong for spot of afternoon freshwater prawn (cherabyn) fishing before returning to camp.

On day two, enjoy a short walk to historic Mount Anderson Station to discover the buildings and remnants that remain amongst the newer buildings used now.

2.5 hour camel trek at Mount Anderson Rock Hole for a swim and morning tea while learning about bush tucker, tracking skills and bush medicine.

End your tour by visiting the historically significant Lynungoodjung cave to hear dreamtime stories of Woonyoonboo and more.

Inclusions: Morning and afternoon tea, lunch and dinner. Pickup/drop-off to accommodation in Broome, Willare or self-drive to Jarlmadangah. Water, sunscreen and insect repellent supplied. Enjoy an optional afternoon walk from Rock Hole to Kalgabin (Honeymoon Springs).

On day two, take a short trek up Kalgabin, an old reliable water source and camping spot.

Embark on a journey up the Grant Ranges via a local swimming hole where you will stop for a dip.

Later, make your way to the boundary fence. Optional afternoon activities include hunting and fishing.

On day three, walk to historic Mount Anderson sheering shed before a tour of Mount Anderson Station.

Experience a 2.5 hour camel trek to Mount Anderson Rock Hole for a swim while learning about bush tucker, tracking skills and bush medicine.

Visit historically significant Lynungoodjung cave to hear dreamtime stories of Woonyoonboo.

Inclusions: Morning and afternoon teas, lunch, dinner, breakfast, pickup/drop-off to accommodation in Broome, camp equipment, water, sunscreen and insect repellent.

Accompanied by Indigenous, local guides, tours can visit billabongs and creeks for swimming and fishing, learn about bush tucker and traditional medicine, include extended camel treks, climb to rock art and ancient living sites and learn about the aboriginal customs and laws still in use today.

These tours can be tailored for groups as a team building and motivation activity in a rugged outdoor setting.
