This is a fantastic day experiencing the Bungle Bungle Ranges at Purnululu World Heritage-listed park . They take the scenic route by plane down to the Bungle Bungle ranges by flying across the Ord Valley, Lake Argyle, Osmond Ranges then land at the bungles, after an hour of extraordinary scenery and commentary.
Every seat is a window seat and there are two-way communications in the plane. Their local guide welcomes you with a Muntha to keep you safe, then they are off in the air- conditioned four-wheel drive bus to the beehive domes. They then trek into Cathedral Gorge and then head out to the lookout, arguably the best view of the park.
They return to the lunch area for their beautiful gourmet picnic with local produce from the Ord Valley. They then return to the airstrip with lots of photo opportunities and arrive at the airstrip for afternoon tea or a cold beverage under the gum trees before taking off back to Kununurra, overflying Argyle Diamond Mine and swinging low out the back of Kununurra to take in Ord Stage 2 and Ivanhoe Crossing, before landing in Kununurra.Carpark Family Friendly Non Smoking Public Toilet

Your Kingfisher Tours guide Clarrie, local Wunambal elder born and raised in Kalumburu. will show you the World War 2 plane wreck sites, share his memories as a boy on Kalumburu when the Japanese planes came over the the coast.
Then get your land legs back and if the tide is out, you can get some oysters and perriwinkles without the crocs getting you! You’ll then be driven to the incredible rock art sites and examine the Gwion Gwion art which is all along the coast line.
Clarrie will show you some bush tucker and local rock art painting techniques and you will then drop in on the local Art Centre where you can purchase art.Carpark Family Friendly Non Smoking Public Toilet
