Cultural and Theme Tours

KingSound Discovery is a tourism business, located approximately 170 kilometres north of Broome on the Dampier Peninsula in the remote Kimberley of Western Australia.

The Dampier Peninsula is surrounded by the Indian Ocean to the west and north and King Sound to the east. With massive tides, coastal inlets, bays, mangroves and plenty of bush tucker, KingSound Discovery is the perfect opportunity for owner Terrence Howard to share his culture and passion with his guests.

Cultural and Theme Tours Nature and wildlife

Join Terrence Howard a local Bard Baniol man from the Dampier Peninsula on an adventure through King Sound.

Discover how generations of Bard Baniol people sourced regular and plentiful supplies of fresh fish, mud crab, oysters, cockles and much more. Experience sea creatures living within the mangrove systems, see an ancient fish trap, stroll along the beach and reef to catch a mud crab, fish or cockles.

Relax and enjoy a yarn and the surrounds of the family homestead as your catch is then cooked up.
