Lake Kepwari

Lake Kepwari was formerly a mine and is now filled with water from the Collie River making it perfect for water based activities and lakeside camping.

The calm waters are ideal for swimming and canoeing activities. Even though inland waterways look inviting, especially when the surface is calm, they pose many hidden dangers.

There is a designated water ski area on the lake with a dual lane boat ramp and parking for boat trailers. There is sealed accessible pathways throughout the site.

Enjoy a picnic or use the barbecues in the shelters overlooking the lake. You may even get lucky and catch a redfin perch or marron and get to cook it for lunch. Fishing is only permitted in season and a fishing licence is required.

For those wishing to camp you must book a camping spot, untreated tank water is available – all water is to be treated before drinking.

Dogs are permitted, however they must remain on a leash at all times.

Lake Kepwari is located only 16 kilometres from Collie.
