Catch and Eat Crab Tours departs on the weekend with other times by arrangement. There are a minimum of eight guests.

With their sweet, nutty flavour and evenly-textured moist flesh, Blue Swimmer Crabs make superb eating. Here in Mandurah, they have them in abundance – enjoy a completely fresh crab tasting lunch!

Head out on their luxury crabbing boat where you can enjoy morning tea, then help pull up the nets before heading to the unspoilt Boundary Island.

Scoop for crabs in the island’s clear shallow waters and perhaps spot one of the resident kangaroos or throw a line in and fish. Head back on board to eat the catch cooked up for you with condiments and complimentary drinks.

Depart on a thrilling, wildlife watching journey aboard their supercharged Spirit of Adventure vessel. Enjoy guaranteed wild dolphin sightings in their natural habitat, all just an hour from Perth city centre.

Cruise the calm waters of Mandurah’s Mandjar Bay and head out via the Port Mandurah Canals, lined with magnificent homes to the Creery Wetlands teeming with birdlife including and annual migration May to October.

At any time on the cruise, keep an eye and watch for dolphins. Mandurah has a resident population of around 130 Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, feeding and playing in the waterways. They may even surf the wake of the boat, something they enjoy doing on the Spirit of Adventure.

Learn about the dolphins, the unique marine environment and the regions history from their well-informed tour guides.

Once you pass Boundary Island the fun begins; the captain steps up the speed, cross the vast Peel Inlet, twice the size of Sydney Harbour, to the Dawesville Cut, a purpose built man-made channel.

Head out for a hands-on experience in the boat, followed by an epic crayfish tasting barbecue lunch.

They set sail in the calm inland waters of Mandurah, just an hour from Perth city centre, where you may see some of our resident wild dolphin population and cruise offshore through the Indian Ocean.

Guests help haul up the crayfish pots and handle them, while learning about their habits, conservation efforts and how they fish for them from their experienced crew.
