In late winter and spring whales are often spotted on their migration along the coast.

Those in the know head to Meelup Beach on summer evenings when for a few nights each month, the full moon rises over the Indian Ocean horizon.

Meelup Beach is about a ten minute drive from Dunsborough.

You can drive to Dunsborough in about three hours from Perth.
