Enjoy the drive through scenic farmlands east of Dongara as they explore just some of the many attractions in the North Midlands area. They’ll make a stop at the famous Mingenew Bakery for ‘Donut Day’ and take a look inside Mingenew’s very own recording studio at Hinterland Collaborative before continuing on their way to Carnamah.

With the town boasting a vibrant arts scene, they’ll take a look inside the Old Exchange to view the latest happenings at the North Midlands Project, as well as a visit to the largest private collection of tractors at the Tractor Museum before heading out to Macpherson Homestead. Here you will get a glimpse of farm life in years gone by with a guided tour, followed by a picnic lunch catered by Carnamah’s 5-star cafe, One L.

In this intimate Wooden Spoons Workshop, you will be guided by a local expert and woodworking artisan, Max Royce. Sit alongside Max in his very own Greenough workshop where he has spent a lifetime perfecting his craft.

He will teach you the various techniques involved in carving your very own wooden spoon out of locally sourced materials. At the end of the class you will leave with your very own handmade wooden spoons to take home and treasure!
