For those who prefer their feet planted firmly on the ground, a behind-the-scenes Optus Stadium tour is just the ticket!

Covering 2.5 kilometres on foot with several stops along the way, this in-depth walking tour caters for all ages and abilities, taking fans inside and through areas usually reserved for their VIPs.

Tour the changerooms of the West Coast Eagles, Fremantle Dockers and the Perth Scorchers in this all-encompassing tour. Sit at ground level on the benches usually occupied by the stars of the game, and also take a moment to imagine you’re an AFL coach or part of the sports media when you walk through the Dennis Cometti Media Centre.

You’ll be spoilt for choice of photos when you view the field of play from some of the best vantage points in the stadium.

From Level 5, you’ll access the roof via a staircase to the famous sails. It’s as easy as walking up a flight of stairs. Need a lift? They have one of those too! Safe and secure, the 360-degree walk will give you access to insider knowledge on game day operations and how the stadium was constructed in beautiful Whadjuk Noongar Country.

Included in the Halo rooftop tour is the new western viewing deck, giving you even better views of the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River) and unique views of Perth City from the stadium’s highest vantage point. Take a few moments to absorb the view and pose for your unique city skyline photo.

Step off the roof and out of your comfort zone!

Feeling brave? Face your fears on the newest attraction at Optus Stadium – Vertigo.

Leaving the roof behind, you’ll traverse 10 metres from side to side. Harnessed from above, you’re free to take this experience as far off the edge as your senses allow. Did they mention there are no handrails?

This 90-minute rooftop experience is for the fearless. If you can, dare to look down and take up the Vertigo challenge.

Included in this experience, is access to the new Western Viewing Deck, where you’ll take in the sights of Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River), the Matagarup Bridge and incredible views of Perth City.
