Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Gala

The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to present an intimate showcase of Western Australia’s brightest young musical talents, in the exquisite surrounds and acoustics of Government House Ballroom.

This concert will feature sensational MetSO Young Artists : Audrey Jarvis (violin), Nicole Li (piano), Charis Postmus (soprano), Alex Thomson (clarinet), Lachlan Higgins (baritone), Max Wung (cello) and Tina Algeri (piano).

On stage alongside our Artists is distinguished Concert Pianist Raymond Yong and outstanding MetSO conductor Izaak Wesson.

The Orchestra will also present the world premiere of “Karinyup Fanfare”, an exciting new work by composer and MetSO concertmaster Ben Clapton.

We have a fabulous program in store for you, featuring a string of musical pearls by Chopin, Liszt, Sarasate, Dvorak, Weill, Holmès and more.

We will also be announcing our 2023 Young Artists.

Doors open from 2pm for pre-Concert refreshments.
