Stress is an increasingly common problem for people in this busy, modern world. This painful state of mind prevents us from experiencing peace and enjoying life. Meditation is an effective way to combat stress and create a sense of mental freedom. By gaining experience of Buddhist meditation techniques and positive thinking they can learn to control their mind, rather than allowing their mind to control them. Through this, they will be able to keep a calm and happy mind in all situations.
The teacher of this course is international teacher and Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Drolkyi, the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Singapore. Ordained for over 20 years, Drolkyi is a senior New Kadampa Tradition teacher who has studied extensively and taught internationally for many years.
