Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show and Spring Festival

Community Event

9 Sep 2019 to 21 Sep 2019

Ravensthorpe Shire is home to 1,800 wildflower species, many of which are unique to Western Australia. The Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show and Spring Festival is an opportunity to see wildflowers on show in their natural state plus experience the festivities offered by a vibrant community.

The wildflower show is an internationally recognised world-class botanical floral display, with over 600 labelled specimens, alongside a new state of the art purpose built herbarium. For the interest and enjoyment of our visitors, an energetic band of volunteers goes forth into the bush armed with picking licenses to seek elusive specimens.

As you enter the Ravensthorpe Town Hall the scent of the bush will assail you, the shelves of flowers will amaze you and the volunteers will welcome you.

Soup and Devonshire tea is hosted daily by community groups in the historic Ravensthorpe Community Centre – tours must be booked. Coach and caravan parking available.
