Safer Internet Day with AFLW star Tayla Harris – Virtual Event

The internet can at times be a dark and lonely place.

But together we can make it a much kinder and safer one.

The Y’s National Safeguarding Unit is proud to host a free Safer Internet Day Virtual Event.

The theme is ‘Together for a better internet’ which focuses on our shared responsibility to make the internet a kinder and safer place for all.

Australian Football League Women (AFLW) star Tayla Harris will be sharing her personal experiences and some invaluable lessons for you to take on board.

You will also hear from the eSafety Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant on the future of eSafety in Australia which includes a sneak peek of the ‘’Stay Safe Online, Tell Someone’’ project launching nationwide this year.

This is a great opportunity for people of all ages including kids to learn about internet safety so they encourage you to invite friends, family members, colleagues and teachers.
