Welcoming National Reconcilation Week

Join the Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip as they celebrate the beginning of National Reconciliation Week 2022! They encourage you to come and join in creating the art!

This year’s National Reconciliation Week theme “Be Brave. Make Change” is a challenge to all Australians – individuals, families, communities, organisations and government – to “Be Brave” and tackle the unfinished business of reconciliation so everyone can “Make Change” for the benefit of all Australians.

Take part with Nyoongar artists Roni and Simon Forrest in creating a beautiful sand mural to celebrate the beginning of National Reconciliation Week.

The Live Sand Art Mural will be on the grass in front of the Boola Bardip Jubilee Building between 7.30am to 10.00am, followed by a Smoking Ceremony from 10.00am to 10.30am
